"He's a freaking traitor is what he is. Sold us out to go work for the Phyrexians!"

That's a Mirran watermark on the card.

One of my favorite cards to use. I really like unblockable creatures, and this has been the brunt of my blue attack force ever since it released.

DEFFINATLEY earned its place in my Splinterfright deck. Would I like to make my 12/12 Splinterfright unblockable this turn? Yep! :P There goes another turn 4 win.

As a big Phantom Warrior fan (yeah, I enjoy my unblockables; so sue me!), this just makes me giddy. Not quite strictly better since it's lacking 1 toughness, but really, there are so few matchups where that would be a significant drawback. I can see it being a hindrance against the large number of red 1-damage CIP creatures or (obviously) pinger decks, but even then, the extra unblockable swing with whatever you have on the table, plus the variety of combat damage (or just damage) triggered effects in blue in my opinion make this more than worth it.

I find it strange that this guy is rated ever so slightly lower than Phantom Warrior at the moment though. (We're talking around 0.019* difference, but still.)

@Scumbling1: maybe the mark is Mirran, but he loves to work with infect creatures. Therefore he is a traitor to his side.

It's like they just designed cards for Venser, the Sojourner to work with. I'm not complaining though, I love creatures with effects when they enter play.
