Not sure if it has any place in constructed play, but a good pick in limited. The instant speed really sells it.

@KikiJikiTiki

No, it's a pun on the expression "clarion call" which refers to the medieval trumpets, clarions, which were blown as warnings or signals, often in battle. The song's title is likely a reference to this.

In an infect deck, it makes two critters at instant speed. In any other green deck, it is "put two -1/-1 counters on a nonflying attacking creature or put a -1/-1 counter on two nonflying attacking creatures." Not too bad I think.

Much better now that Flesh-Eater Imp and Plague Myr have come out.

@Dacen_Octavio- Actually, no it isn't a bad Dragon Fodder. Yes, it costs more to play, but in the colour that is the king of ramp. It is also an instant, which makes it a lot more powerful and versatile. And finally, the tokens are 1/1 INFECTERS, which blows a pair of vanilla 1/1 goblins out of the water, both as defensive chump blockers or as extra poisonous attackers.

Definite 4/5.

4.5/5, the bread and butter to my green/blue infect deck. Though I feel the cost is a bit much for two 1/1's, even if they have infect..

There are some advantages to having two 1/1s instead of one 2/2.

Normally this card is overpriced. In some sort of wacky casual infect deck, though, it comes out after Gaea's Anthem for example, and before Overrun. Multiple bodies improve the overall ability should you have a deck based around mass pump.
