Beautiful. The downside is barely noticeable in the right deck, but the text itself makes this card feel exciting even when both you and your opponent are at safe life totals. It looks and feels like a threat, and it's practically dripping flavour.
No matter what other 4cc 6/6 fliers get printed, this is going to rule over them all. No other colour even comes close to Black.

Mike asked people for "hole submissions". It is a common thing for a development team to do.
Mail out de***ions of cards, and see what people send in. Then the developers meet, and talk about what makes the set. The lead (Mike) chooses which one is the best.
This hole didn't require a lot of talk. Just "AWESOME!", and it was in.
Some cards don't turn out very well, and no one takes credit. This one is so great I know three people who each told me that he made it. And to each of you, great job!
I love how it is a build around that feels like you "broke the card".
It says you can't win, which looks absurdly bad. But you know you can win if you kill it. Wow, I get a 6/6 flying trampler for 2BB, and it barely has a downside; my deck has so much creature kill the "you can't win the game" is practically flavor text!

To: TheSuperbloop, the flavor text actually says that both players are his slaves cause your opponent craves death from getting his face smashed by abyssal's hoof all day and you desire freedom from him so you can let your opponent die but he keeps both of that from happening lol.
As for the card i'd have to say he's an amazing demon just cause he's cheep powerful but has a huge catch everything that makes the perfect demon. 5/5
