This card is awesome! It trades favorably with Lightning Bolt and Galvanic Blast, and it buys me time to draw other spells, since that Goblin Guide my opponent keeps hitting me with gives me lands.
Stop me if my logic is flawed...

This card makes no sense. It's almost exactly the same art as Beacon of Immortality except it's far weaker, so it's off flavor-wise. Rest for the Weary has a landfall trigger for more life gain, so it's not even as good as that. It's card disadvantage. The other forms of life gain in Scars are just vastly superior, and the existence of Infect just makes it completely worthless.
