While Sage Owl is good, I'd use this over it.

I run four of these guys in my Quest For Ula's Temple deck. SO GOOD! Useful in pretty much any blue deck. I love scry. It's a great mechanic.

This is really nice. 2 cost flying chump and the ability to be even more useful later. Bottoming any lands when your manas fine and you need a finish is always welcome. This does that with extra utility.

Definitely one of my top five favorite cards along with Phantasmal Bear. Too bad it cycled for standard. This, ponder, and scry gave me ridiculous card advantage.
