Sign in Blood on a 2/2 Artifact creature body. Definitely one of the best Replica's.

This is great. It's absolutely on par with Sylvok Replica; I really like being able to have Sign in Blood at instant speed.

This card is unbelievably good in limited, where you're limited by poison counters instead of life.

I'd argue this Could be usable in constructed. 2/2 for 3 is ok, add nights whisper at instant speed. Sure. As zenzei pointed out, for example, it'd be nice w/ masticore

Overall a pretty awesome common. It's always done well for me in Scars block drafts, being a 2/2 body with an awesome activated ability. Being able to declare him as a blocker then popping him is always nice, or swinging for 2-4 damage before popping him is even better. The replicas in Scars are waaayyy better than the replicas from Original Mirrodin block. 4/5

1 life = 1 card draw has long been a square deal for winning black decks. Would've been better in the pre-2010 rules era.

this is actually pretty cool. I'd run it with obsidian battle-axe and unearth for a cheap black warrior smasher deck.

This thing is great in EDH. Clamp him, hit for 3, then pay 2 to draw 4 and lose 2 life. Obviously not the best card in the format, but solid enough to be good. 4/5
