This card isn't broken. There are plenty of answers to it, so why is it banned? It seems a lot more powerful than it is. It just forces your opponent to play unconventionally by not trying to always maintain card advantage. An example of a Legacy deck that can consistently beat this card is Affinity. Faeries or fish should have an answer (i.e. Force of Will), and Leyline of Sanctity makes it so this can't even target you.
