@Anubisisking: It's more of a sideboard card for control decks against weenies/tokens since it'll wipe the opposition and drain your opponent's life total in the process, unlike Wurmcoil Engine which, when faced with a bunch of small creatures, will not do you much good.

I'm playing blue/black, pulling carnifex demon out of my deck for this guy. He comes out swinging, hurts everyone but you, and keeps the hurt coming as long as he's out. Also, mimic vat and clone. Seriously, just wrong.

While less effective than grave titan or wurmcoil engine 80% of the time, the other 20% of the time includes rite of replication.

Against Grave Titan, he's alright. WIth your opponents tokens from Grave Titan going to the graveyard, your opponent can lose a lot of life. Plus Massacre Wurm even trades with him in battle. As for Wurmcoil Engine, that thing is a true force to be reckoned with.
