SilverSkyz, you have given me a quest. From this day forward, I will not rest until I have beaten someone by Decimator Web-ing them and then finishing them off with this. And then saying "Now...you're...ideal", in the same cadence as that Kiefer Sutherland character from Dark City.

People are so looking at this card for the wrong reasons. This is pretty much going to be the game ender in most INFECT decks. Giving 3 poison counters to somebody not coming from a permanent on the board is a HUGE deal! the drawback you give them is totally worth it. I promise you this will see play in constructed and will *** off so many people in the process. With all the free spells in New Phyrexia and pump and proilferate spells in Standard, getting your opponent to 10 poison counters is not as hard as it seems with this bad-boy around. Don't underestimate this card at all, worst case scenario, it's three cards for you late game, which is huge late game.

Versatile, but ultimately overcosted.

As a source of card of advantage for yourself, black has many superior alternatives. You can get this same effect cheaper, and without the poison, from Ancient Craving and Ambition's Cost. And while those are fine cards in casual games, they're not on the upper end of black's draw power even in that format.

As for a means of damaging / poisoning a player, it's even more overcosted. Did Famine ever appeal to anyone? How about one without the life kickback? It's similar to six damage for five if you look at it from the poison side of things, yet that's still lackluster. Do infect decks ever consistently reach their fifth land drop? For either damage or poison, it should only ever be used for the final & lethal points: otherwise there is no good excuse to ever turn a Concentrate on an opponent.

This is a very good finisher for limited. You'll find that people will take a lot of poison counters in order to preserve their board position. Just when they think they're about to start blocking, you whip this out and end it right then and there.

3 cards.
3 damage.
3 poison.
5 mana. DERP

Why oh why doesn't this cost 3? Keeps with the 'theme of 3s' this card almost had going on, and it would have been more like a grown up Sign in Blood.

FIve mana for 3 poison counters... well, a giant growth on an unblocked creature does the same, for one mana.
