Sometimes it's easier to put creatures into your own graveyard than into your opponent's. That said, given the half cost this Wurm may turn out to be stronger than Lhurgoyf in 1v1.

Efficient backup to Splinterfright. Might get mistaken for Tarmogoyf by newer players, but nowhere close.

Cute card, but mortivore and lhurgoyf are still better. :) There is simply no point in playing this guy on turn two. And even if you play it on turn four, the same turn as you can play lhurgoyf on, lhurgoyf will be more than twice as big.

Poor Lhurgoyf...

It's pretty good in the right deck, but it's not even close to Tarmogoyf.

Half the power of Lhurgoyf (half in duels but MUCH more less in multiplayer games) and half the cost. Halving the power has greater impact because there is no point casting this early. Also graveyard exile effects have been made so widespread ( Bojuka Bog, etc. ) that this is much more risky than it's grandfather. A pretty bad Lhurgoyf-wannabe. 2/5

Gatherer works better in the Companion app!
