Once dead, this guys basically has flash, which is pseudo-haste. Ironic, considering it comes into play tapped. I consider this to be one of the best cards in standard to run with Sword of Feast and Famine.

I really love this card, their is just so many possibilities! One combo I haven't seen on here would be this and the banned card Skullclamp... pay three draw two, rinse and repeat! 5/5

I've actually used my only Diabolic Tutor in an EDH game to get this guy early before the rest of my sacrifice cards started to surface.
And I never regretted it. One of my favorite cards.

This is a legit contender for "Most Annoying Card to Face in a Draft". Also, if they reprint this again (and I hope they do), it would be funny if the skeleton was of a goblin, perhaps clutching some sort of toy.

This reprint is probably the reason they cut Bloodthrone Vampire. Turbo-sacking him to her was brutal and also felt cheap when you were on the other end of it. Doing the same with Devouring Swarm is not quite so ugly.
