Does anyone know the lore origins of this weapon? The card Blowfly Infestation references a giant by the name of Tollek Worldslayer, and that's the closest I've come to an answer.

Well, yeah, "indestructible" goes well with this.
But only a few cards grant indestructibility. Worldslayer is a *lot* more versatile than that, consider these swordwielders:
--creatures with regeneration
--creatures with undying or persist
--creatures playable from the graveyard
--critters that leave tokens behind when they die
--critters that return to your hand when they die
--creatures that put creatures into your hand when they die
My favorite swordwielders are the Wurms (Symbiotic Wurm, Nesting Wurm, Penumbra Wurm, Skeletal Wurm, Tunneler Wurm, Wurmcoil Engine).
The best and funniest of all is letting Worldspine Wurm wield a Worldslayer.

Am I the only one who's surprised that this isn't legendary? If it gets in a hit, it destroys everything in the world except for itself. Doesn't get much more legendary than that if you ask me.
