@allmighty_abacus: Well, the Boros do. ;)

Though this is something of a tactical nuke, whereas the linked card is more of a hydrogen bomb...

EDIT: Sigarda, Host of Herons says NO.

And no means no.

I run 3 of these in my 5-colour deck, and it works wonders! Yes, back then it was ok, since most played multicolour, but today it is even better as people either play monocolour, or rely on nonbasic lands. This has gone from being a simple bomb and a setback, to a nuke that tends to instantly win me the game, as I am left with my mana-base pretty much intact and then move onto assaulting them with big biggies.

Also, as mentioned, once you combine it with collective restraint things get even worse for you opponent, while the lowered cost of multicolour cards allow you to play almost anything for 5-6 mana. My opponents HATE this card, and they know that if I get one off, the game is pretty much over.

Another tip; This combined with Fertile ground or Groundskeeper allows you to pretty much ignore the effect, and potentially come out of a global ruin with 9 mana!

Easily one of the best land destruction cards ever created, especially if you can... (see all)

This thing kills in EDH. Most people run multicolored commanders, and if you can manage a mono white deck then you can murder your opponents with this.

Teach the young 'uns why mono-coloured isn't always the best idea. Get ready for some hate unless this is the follow-up to a creature wipe. Hosing non-basics is always funny. 5/5

@bertuccia32

Are you sure you're interpreting this card correctly? Seems to me you're implying that mono-white would actually benefit from this.
