Ooo, options galore with this one... Make something huge before combat to 'provoke' a block. Swing out and pump the blocked one to kill a blocker and still trample over for damage. Pump an unblocked token for even MORE damage. Or just make an already beefy attacker trample for 3 (uses a Tap). And that's just offensively (which is typically how Red or Green should play). All of this repeatable on a land that also can tap for mana and has NO downsides (painlands, into play tapped, etc...). BEAUTIFUL! I'm tempted to say best of the cycle.

For anyone that wants to see the whole cycle:
Gavony Township
Kessig Wolf Run
Moorland Haunt
Nephalia Drownyard
Stensia Bloodhall

@htgtmd Sorrow's Path would like to have a word with you.

I absolutely love this land. Seeing as all I ever build are stompy decks, usually in red and/or green, this land was a godsend. It makes just about anything you throw it on a beast. Unless your opponent is running a lot of first-strikers, this card can win you the game fairly quickly.

You can even activate it for 0 to pump a creature in a Stonebrow deck!

it seems like red and green decks are always looking for a place to sink their mana, and this looks like it will work fine for that

FTV 20 is going to be awesome. Jace, the Mind Sculptor, Swords, Dark Ritual, Hymn to Tourach, Venser, Shaper Savant, Cruel Ultimatum, and this??? Why Wizards, why? Put in Primeval Titan, BoP, or Huntmaster of the Fells, not this $1.00 rare

@mpit*** I 5 starred your comment because you asked nicely on the Vault printing. =)

And while I agree that this isn't QUITE Vault material? (That would be like picking a land for the Lorwyn year....I mean...yes, a Vivid land would be 'justifiable'....but leave a bad taste in everyone's mouth, right? Non-basic lands are often either trash or stupid great when it comes to Standard. They go well WITH the things that Abuse them but that thing abusing them is going to be the more interesting card, anymore.)

Their hands were kind of tied, though. Sticking a fricking Titan in this? Really? It would be like a horrid monster, like a cross between FTV: Exiled and FTV: Legends. FTV Legends has a lot of cards that....actually a pretty large number of people want....but they mostly are not hard to get either, so barring, I think really only Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre, none of those cards are "surprisingly desired by target audience".

From the Vault: Exiled is full of c... (see all)
