This being unplayable?
Just being 6/6 for 6 CMC make it quite powerfull for a blue creature. His "pay 2 more" ability may not seem all that great at first sight, but you need to think about it in a more complex way (as a blue mage already should). It can shut down your opponent combo - if he waste more mana, he can't cast it, and you know, even one mana CAN make difference. Secondly, it make your soft counters like Mana Leak or Spell Pierce much more reliable, especially if you're playing some kind of restrictive deck using cards like Propaganda or Windborn Muse. If he would have shroud, or even Hexproof, he would be insane. This is just balanced... powerfull, but balanced.
His second ability is much more dangerous... and it's a reason why he win the titan wars - he just keep the other titans tapped. What is even better, he is not restricted to creatures, he can tap everything really cheaply... don'... (see all)

The first ability is what Chromium Rhuell should have had. Or maybe a Divert version of it.

This titan's power level is less than all the other titans but the fact that it completely shuts down all other titans is worth pointing out. It's like the anti Titan titan.

Just saying, this plus Venser, the Sojourner ruins my day every day my brother plays it. Tap 4 things a turn. They don't untap next untap step. Seems legit.

i have a question??? why the frost titan can apply his second ability with a permanent tapped....i don-t understand that, because if a permanent is tapped, you don't "tapped" again. thanks
