At first I thought the hammer was hinged where the haft meets the head, but upon closer inspection that doesn't seem to make much sense. Someone explain to me what's going on here.

A solid weapon, though at 6 mana a bit expensive to cast and equip.
If you have this equipped to a creature, and you have Concerted Effort in play, wouldn't all your creatures get trample?

I never played Loxodon Warhammer for the sole purpose that it had an elephant holding it up... NOW I CAN FINNALY PLAY THIS GREAT CARD!
