I would go out and chase Grizzly bears.
I wouldn't be chasing this one, though.
Even in a morbid deck.

Let me help those who, like myself, sort of "glanced over" the details of this card.
This DOES NOT say "put two +1/+1 counters on Ulvenwald Bear".
This INSTEAD says "put two +1/+1 counters on target creature".

That flavour text is looking pretty Mirage-block to me.

This could be good in G/R or Naya with Slumbering Dragon

I'm sad that I haven't pulled any of these guys.
I think it'll do good in a fast beatdown deck, where you keep on attacking even at the expense of some units. The scenario I have in mind is this :
Turn 3 : I attack with 2 little creatures, he blocks and kills one of them, then I drop this.

I only play casual, so I know it may not be the best turn 3 play on green out there, but this works :)
And the fun in magic is making things work (as a Johnny-ish player at least), it's not ALL about winning...

When I first read Ulvenwald Bear, I thought it was ok. I didn't notice at first that it says, "...put two +1/+1 counters on TARGET creature." I just assumed they went directly onto him.
After noticing this, this is definitely one of the better bears I've seen. 4/5

Looks like it's doing a counter-point dance with Runeclaw Bear's art
