I'm split on using this or forbidden alchemy.

I hate that this isn't at instant speed - it would hardly be overpowered there.

Great constructed card - at times, this can be rough in limited.

I have a build of Burning Vengeance planned that uses this as a cheap way to grab things like Magus of the Bazaar and possibly Shriekmaw and runs cards like Gnaw to the Bone.

I really like the potential to dig down repeatedly into my library for the creatures I want. Plus it'd work in tandem with things like dredge or flashback.

This is better costed than forbidden alchemy, but with forbidden alchemy you can get stuff that isn't creatures. Whenever i run self mill graveyard play, i always find it harder to recover non-creature stuff from the graveyard.

Surprised this is rated so low. in a properly designed deck, this is almost a draw 4... twice.

Cards like this are the engines of a Splinterfright/Boneyard Wurm deck. Because you're going to be focused on milling yourself, many players are understandably hesitant to use many instants or sorceries or enchantments because they'll often end up in the graveyard where they're useless (not to mention they don't count towards the creatures-in-your-graveyard-total).

A card like this allows those players to dig through their deck with amazing speed, gathering the creatures they want and tossing the ones they don't into the graveyard. And if one Tracker's Instincts happens to run over another, both can always be flashbacked later, with no loss in card advantage.

Cost-efficient and somehow beautiful. 4/5
