He's REALLY MEAN! :D

This card can be terribly annoying - having to keep track of the number of permanents all the time?

Might be cool comboed with Blinking Spirit to control the number of permanents at the end of your opponent's turn.

Also, at that size, I wonder why they did not make him a Giant Warrior or something.

I guessing that haste used to work differently. When this card was printed, a creature probably "came into play" when it changed controlers as well as when it was cast. It's haste looks to be worded so that the caster dosen't get haste but players that later gain control of it do. (otherwise it would suffer summoning sickness nearly every turn) Since changing controlers dosen't change the cards in-play status anymore his sudo-haste is redundant. Thus, "looses haste untill end of turn".

Wait, so it's a 7/7 first strike that changes control between different players? Seriously guys, what's the point of giving it haste if it loses haste when it comes into play? That, or I'm missing something here.

It should have the ETB effect placed before the upkeep ability so when a player reads this card they're all like "wha? That doe - =O AWESOME!!!!!!1!1!2"

This card is so all over the place and confusing it makes me laugh. It makes sense, but seriously; I had to read it like 3 times before I thought R&D was smoking a bit too much reefer.

"Chaos Lord can attack as though it had haste unless it entered the battlefield this turn."

Isn't that what haste does? It let's you attack on the first turn you cast it?
