I'm definitely not against seeing quasi-vanilla 2/2's for 1X, however I think the activation costs would be more than fine at one mana.

Ability is too expensive. If you've got 2White sitting around, generally you're throwing in another creature.

So...they made a horribly worse version of Elite Inquisitor so that it could be a common? I guess for limited purposes this bodes well, but beyond that...ugh...

I just have to shake my head that this is rated lower than Traveling Philosopher.

Honestly this is exactly what I think the power level of a 2 drop common should be; bear + unique but not too useful upside.
