Sudden Spoiling gives you the opportunity to kill this.

Actually, if you force someone to discard with it in hand, it hits the graveyard.

Did this lose a lot of power with the M10 rules update? Please reply. This used to be amazing with combat-damage-on-the-stack because you could free activate after damage was on the stack and bring back to your hand. A 2/2 body is very solid for Legacy.

ok so question....my friend attacked me with a 2/2 creature. i blocked with blinking sprit. then i try to bounce him back to my hand before damage is delt. i believe that blinking spirit wont die, and no damage will be dealt to any creature or player. i know you used to be able to do that when damage was on the stack, but did this change?
now my second question would be if you could bounce it back after damage is delt?

Sure, you can think of many ways to kill a Blinking Spirit. But in an average game, how often can you pull them off? This dude combines well with any mass effect or cards that care about hand size. It was a great card when it came out, and it is a great card now.

4/5
