I agree with speednat. Not much gets by this guy.
Seems like Venser's deck is... um way better than Koth's.
Venser's Deck: This, Path to Exile, Oblivion Ring, Venser. Not a great deck, but respectable.
Koth's deck: A bunch of above the curve spells, which are apparently justified because Koth's deck gets LOTS OF MOUNTAINS.

The flavor text is perfect for this card. It`s not too expensive and really slows down your opponent.
Who doesn`t like playing ``Wall of Denial`` on the battlefield. 5 out of 5.

Guys, let's not make political references on Gatherer. Magic has almost nothing to do with politics.
Defender: when a creature meant to go with Doran is too strong, or when a creature just isn't crappy enough.
I'd say this card is the first option.

@pedrodyl As one who bought the duel decks, I can say that Koth is actually better. Venser is too slow most of the time. Of course, I just swapped some of the weaker stuff and put in cards like Grand Arbiter Augustin IV to make it awesome.

this thing is a *** to get rid of...but in all honesty, getting an 8+ swinger with Kiln Fiend is not too tough in an Izzet-Burn deck.
