It's like a very watered down Cruel Ultimatum- think about it: only using one color, paying a bit less mana, AND is a common- this is about right. Add RR for 5 damage, Add UU for draw 3, and you're left with wanting this card to either gain you life or cause them to discard. probly that would have made it too much to be common though. The mana cost is right.
Which is to say that Cruel Ultimatum is not, can not, should not be made into a common.
I would like them to take one more try at a card like this, cost 3BBB, uncommon and throw in discard 1 and life gain 1.

Visually, this makes me happy. Obviously not the greatest card in most circumstances, but the art almost makes me want to use it. The artist has struck that wonderfully comic tone that harkens back to the old days.

It's an OK card. its VERY useful, but the mana cost is a tad too much, and, when did commons have a mana cost of 6???

it should have been return a creature from your graveyard to the battlefield, target player sacrifices a creature :D
