The distinguished owl of the Supreme Judge Isperia is not amused.

It only counters instant and sorcery, but that alone would already stop opponent from using notorious first term spells and/or free spells.

Not an auto 4-of in every deck using blue or white, but almost strictly better than Cursecatcher in every way - the only downside is that this bird isn't in a highly relevant tribe.

Come on, Wizards. Print a 2-drop Bird lord already.

Okay, 1 for a 1/1 flying is more than okay for white/blue. The attached (almost) Force Spike pushes him into crazy. Versatile is the word... As if mono white needed a 1 cmc counter

Cursecatcher with flying. And that card's hovering around $2.00. Conclusion: ludicrously playable, and a friend of U/W control in the mirror match.
