this card has its uses. Gonna use it in my Niv-Mizzet EDH deck. just cast Train of Thought / Pyromatics. For each replicate the wand gets a charge and a proc. so assuming you have 7 mana (to play the card) you could train of thought/pyromatics 3 times which is 3 charge counters and 1+2+3=6 damage.

This is not a bad a card you people just need more imagination.When use with Tamiyo, Twiddle, and a Silver Myr it is an auto win.

This is a fine card for the deck. It's strong in the late-game, being able to turn all your spells into extra creature removal and help kill your opponent is quite strong.

@wheeledgoat: Any spells and single abilities (Sphinx-Bone Wand only has one ability) that has the word "target" in it requires all of its targets to be legal when being put onto the stack and at least one target to be legal when it resolves. It's the only way that makes sense to R&D and there would be TONS of problems if things were different.
