Seems like a really good sideboard option vs. control decks. An awesome and flavorful way for red to deal with counterspells.

Ha! I remember this so well! I used it in a multiplayer combo deck. With Sacred Ground in play, you Donate Price of Glory to an opponent to make infinite mana on other players' turns (and Donate is largely protected from counters by Price of Glory's ability). What fun!
Admittedly Donate soon found other horrors to give away, but I enjoyed giving away many different terrible things :)

I had this card played against me once. I was playing Psychatog in Standard(and had that little Grinning Buscemi in play) when my opponent decided to cast this card. My kneejerk reaction was to counter it at all costs. Luckily, I decided to actually look at the game state and do some math. I said 'Sure' and let it resolve. When my opponent said go, I got rid of anything in the way and tapped a few other lands to get them in the yard. Untap, swing with Psychatog for exactsies by removing all those lands that were now in my graveyard.

My opponent was less than happy with this chain of events.

I prefer this to City of Solitude.
You can play your counterspells and instant speed removal. Be my guest! But you better make it count.

This would utterly destroy a blue deck.
