They could make it an instant and have it say "Kicker 2: If Twilight's call wasn't cast on your turn, counter it unless it's kicker cost was paid" if it absolutely needed to have kicker.

Soooo... You actually can format this to use kicker. I think it would read like so

Twilight's Call
Kicker {2}
Counter Twilight's Call if it was cast any time a sorcery couldn't be cast unless it was kicked.
Each player returns all creature cards yada yada yada...

It just looks kinda sloppy. I'm glad kicker wasn't used.

The fair and more expensive version of Living Death?

That doesn't make it worse, though. Remember, Rout's by no means "strictly" worse than Wrath of God...

Oh snap, I didn't notice that until now! Look at that! They're complete mirror cards!

How would this card work with Flayer of the Hatebound? The issue that we where discussing was this:

1. All creature where in the graveyard at this time (Mutilate from the previous turn).

2. Plays Twilight's Call, all creatures returned to the battlefield including Flayer of the Hatebound.
-The Idea was when FLayer of the Hatebound enters the battlefield, along with the 7 other creatures that entered, His ability would activate for each creature entering along with him.
-The argument against it was, since all creatures entered simultaneously, Flayer's ability would only work for himself because he was not out before any of the other creatures entered.

Who is right?
