The flavor and art are amazing, but what you get isn't that great. Honestly, I don't really want to attack on the ground in an Orzhov/Extort deck, so his vigilance has never really been useful. And his high cost makes him hard to use extort when you cast him. I'd honestly rather run Crypt Ghast as my four mana extorter.
Still, I love the flavor and art. Just wish it was on a better card.
