I fell in love with this guy at the prerelease. The one and only card that consistently stalled Boros, the only speed bump on that guild's steamroller to victory. He's better than a bear, that's for sure.

The key to understanding the Simic: First, join their guild, then experiment with any number of mutations. Although you'll probably still have just as much luck staring a homunculus down...

He was the Hero my Simic deck needed in a draft yesterday
Not only was he one badass on offense but the man could hold the ground all damn year. My opponents Dinrova Horrors just weren't ready for this guy

It's already a balanced 1/3 for 2 that can get a nice little boost in any simic deck.
I don't see any problems here.

Compare to Rootwalla and Darkthicket Wolf. This card is the most mana efficient of the three.
