There are a few ways of turning Planeswalkers into creatures. To my knowledge, they all revolve around turning them into an Enchantment (Enchanted Evening) or an Artifact (Memnarch/Mycosynth Lattice) first, and then turning them into a creature (Opalescence for enchantments, and either March of the Machines or Animate Artifact for artifacts). Once they're creatures, they're fair game to be equipped with these bracers, and then their abilities will be duplicated. Remember, though, that adding or removing counters is the cost of the ability, not the effect, so activating a +1 still only gives you one counter even though the ability fires twice.

Sun Titan's effect is triggered, not activated. As has been mentioned a few times, activated abilities are printed in a "cost: effect" format. If it doesn't have a cost listed before a colon, it... (see all)

I have this in my Azami EDH deck, and i love to be able to draw 2 cards off each of my wizards, but its a lot more fun to equip to Patron Wizard

@Harvester0souls, commander damage is combat damage only. Sorry.
Still, 30 damage is nothing to sneeze at with Hidetsugu

Anyone remember that Izzet Guildmage, Manamorphose and Training Grounds combo? Well, now your entire combo is transmutable with Muddle the Mixture. A bit clunky, but who doesn't love throwing your deck at an opponent and yelling "ALL OF IT! I PLAY ALL OF IT!"
