Why does a Boros card completely screw over Battalion?
Edit: You are absolutely correct, and I deserve a 0.5 star comment rating for that goof. I'll leave it up as a monolith in honor of the great gods of stupid mistakes. Not as bad as my stupidity on one of the Simic cards from Gatecrash, where I completely failed to notice the first three words of the card.

Pulled two of these for the start of sealed league today, and managed to get them both out on the field. The only problem? My opponent had a Progenitor Mimic out, and before long, he had two as well. The rules shenanigans that occurred, and the ensuing results (I managed to take one of his faux Battleshapers with a Smelt-Ward Gatekeepers for a very narrow win) make this one of my favorite cards in Dragon's Maze. If not for playability, then for pure coolness.
I mean, a Battleshaper must give even Odric, Master Tactician a run for his tactical money.

Interesting interactions with Silent Arbiter/Dueling Grounds. Could also see it screwing up someone's Exalted deck.

This card is nuts good (if a tad expensive), but what I love most about it is the art - specifically the guy on the right side. He's looking up at the mace with this awed look on his face, like he's thinking "Holy crap that thing is as big as I am..."
