She also can't sac herself if someone casts an Act of Treason or something on 'er. Which apparently was why they made a new card in the first place, odd flavor, eating yourself. Unless you're a doomgape.

If Bloodthrone Vampire saw play in Aristocrats builds, this could too. Although the higher CMC will probably make it less likely, it still has its share of shenanigans.

This card is neither strictly better or strictly worse than anything, especially in comparison to Nantuko Husk or Vampire Aristocrat. I like how rather than reprinting all the cards with new names, they're actually changing them functionally so they're essentially new cards. Kudos.
