With all of the ETB abilities running rampant, most of the creatures that are worth playing for those those abilities are either white, green, or both. Really, REALLY good sideboard card if you're running black.

Pulled two of these at a prerelease, one was a foil and it looks amazing.
But it's a great card too.

Personally, I think he is the strongest from the "M14 enemy color hate creature" cycle. He offers immediate card advantage and solid evasion. But he is sideboard-only, unlike Witchstalker and Fiendslayer Paladin.

I really wanted this to be GOOD! But that toughness...damn it. It is not bad by any means though. Card disadvantage on turn three is still effective.

He hits virtually every single major creature in Standard right now: Huntmaster of the Fells, Thragtusk, Voice of Resurgence, Falkenrath Aristocrat, Loxodon Smiter, Obzedat, Ghost Council, Restoration Angel, and Angel of Serenity. Even if he whiffs, he is still a 3/1 with evasion for three, which isn't too shabby.
In fact, the main matchup that he isn't very good against is mono black zombies :P
