Okay, other keywords aside....
Not sure it's worth reaching for black just to snag this. If you're running dedicated Slivers (and thus pure aggro) and need the life from this, things have already gone drastically wrong.
Sure, while we still have Cavern of Souls in Standard, it doesn't hurt to toss one or two of these into the mix. After that, though? It's a stretch.
I'll give it a 3 for current Standard, and probably a 2.5 after Cavern rotates. Just don't think Manaweft Sliver is enough to chase this, and I don't think it's worth mixing black into the mana base unless you're running only one (MAYBE two) other colors in Slivers.

Strange, I thought I'd see lifelink in white, and deathtouch in black... but I think with all the first and double strike that slivers have, deathtouch would be too good.

Being able to give all your Slivers lifelink will make racing the Sliver deck even more impossible.
