welp, the Scenery on this art is great.
I love the rules box too. It's nice to see Drakes and Griffins occasionally find ways to be a bit better than crap.
the Griffin itself sucks artwise. :P What gives? o.O

Great card in limited (Placed in a draft from it) , not that good in other formats.
The only reason it's a 2/2 and gains 1/1 is to remind newer players that they can attack.

It's a good mid-pick in M14 limited if you're already playing white. But nobody is ever building a deck around this card.

Creative guy number 2: "make it a griffin."
Green's iconic creature it the hydra, but insects and wurms and other get great cards too.
Whit'e iconic is the angel, and it doesn't share.
