Derevi is a outstanding general.
her ability to chump block is pretty much 1 of the strongest parts of her.
things to consider for the deck:
birthing pod
4 drops : Heliod, God of the Sun , stoic angel , hokori dust drinker . glen elendra archmage ,
5 drops : karmic guide , acidic slime , Prophet of Kruphix , reveillark
trust me getting a birthing pod to grab hokori is game ending 80% of the time

evasive or at least hard to block creatures are amazing
Daxos of Meletis , Ohran viper , Thada Adel, Acquisitor , Looter il-Kor

drawing for combat :
Bident Of Thassa , edric, spymaster of trest

combat enchantments
Opposition , finest hour (you can swing with ... (see all)

I'd just like to point out a few things all in one comment so you don't have to go looking.

1.) Derevi has multiple infinite mana combos (one being Bloom Tender and Ashnod's Altar for infinite colorless mana, another being Deadeye Navigator and Gilded Lotus for infinite of any color.)

2.) Combined with Aluren and any sacrifice outlet, Derevi makes for infinite untap/tap triggers (which, in turn, can cause infinite mana (untap land)).

3.) People note the compatability with cards that don't allow players to untap all of their permanents every turn (Winter Orb, Storage Matrix, et cetera).

4.) Derevi's repeatable (and non-increasing) put into play ability causes for good combos with some sacrificial cards, such as City of shadows and Birthing Pod.

5.) Derevi's untapping triggers can be abused in ver... (see all)

What is Wizards thinking? Printing this in the same colors as Storm Crow?! Broken!

Makes too much for what was supposed to, the other day I made a game with it, I had a Birthing pod on the table and could use at least twice the pod, sometimes I even gave me the luxury of using the pod in Derevi only to pick something up on the curve of four, put it on the table, untap the pod and take the curve five.

There are other things you can do but for a first time experience i must say, i liked.

Hey, Wizards,
Thanks for creating a commander that throws the game out of balance. So matter how many times I kill Derevi, her casting cost NEVER increases? Yeah, thats fair. How about an enchantment that does the same to the other commanders?

This card is actually somehow a bit rediculous. Should EDH be like this? Instant speed, virtually uncounterable commander that does cool and useful stuff with only 4 mana.. my next commander.

Is nobody else going to say it?

OK I will. :P

It looks like a Transfomer XD

It looks like Bumblebee crossed with Optimus Prime?

And the background looks like a Michael Bay movie. :P

The art is a bit confusing. Also, she's not nearly as cool as Rafiq but she gets the job done.
