Use Orb of Dreams with Amulet of Vigor and the new inspired creatures to cause them to trigger immediately, and anytime you flicker them.
Blue and Black have any good choices which do not require additional mana:
Arbiter of the Ideal
Daring Thief
Disciple of Deceit
King Macar, the Gold-Cursed
Servant of Tymaret
Siren of the Silent Song
Sphinx's Disciple
Then use Conjurer's Closet to get some bonus uses out of them.
Use Mimic Vat to trigger them on demand.

I enchanted him with Claim of Erebos. Tap him and deal two damage, untap him to deal another damage and gain a life.

Servant of Tymaret + Freed from the Real + Karametra's Favor will let you cause infinite lifeloss (and infinite lifegain for you)... it's also Pauper legal.

he serves Tymaret the murder king yet no synergy exists between their abilities. regenerate doesn't help with sacrifice, gaining life doesn't mean anything - loss of life is good but still different from Tymaret's damage.
That said its a decent inspired creature and maybe the only one who doesn't cost manna to inspire? I can see hidden strings being a thing for two damage a turn.

Can't decide which I like more in my zombie EDH: this or Gray merchant of Asphodel. Merchant works well with my sac triggers and reanimation, but can be hit and miss with how much life is actually lost. This guy combos with my Intruder alarm and is a lot cheaper, and can work as a nice little blocker in a pinch. Decisions decisions...

This works with all inspired creatures in Modern, EDH etc.
Freed from the Reel, Paradise Mantle. Tap the creature to generate 1 U mana, use freed to untap it, rinse and repeat.

i slid this into my BUG control deck and guess what, this guy was the MVP of the deck that night. I took second at FNM and this guy played a huge part that night. Rocks mono reds socks, deals well with naya. overall awesome

@Ruaranicus: Maybe he's kinda like Mogis's Marauder... He doesn't truly belong to the creature type which he worships, so he just kinda dresses up like them? Doesn't explain his terrible synergy with Tymaret though.
