Briarpack Alpha and Witchstalker and mutavualt and you've got yourself some tribal wolves.

Maybe more wolves in Journey into Nyx? There's only 2 other wolves in Standard right now, 3 if you count Mutavault. Maybe it could be a thing with some populate shenanigans...

Better Enchantment than most bestow cards.

THis is a card that was designed probably for imited but at least could see some use on kitchen tables. That would be all I ask for as design guideline. Just take a look at all the other cards of this set that scream "limited card" - most of them aren't even fringe playable in the weakest casual environments. They are just there to be played in limited once and never been touched again - you could say they are cardboard garbabe from the moment they were printed.

Ha, more like that cat made those wolves more ferocious, not the other way around...

There's a mother-in-law joke in here, I know it.

2/2 green creature tokens existed in Theros block before this card, and they were boars. In development, this card was called Raised by Pigs. True story.

This card has some flavor issues (Romulus and Remus were obviously Roman, not Greek) and it contributes to the unusual token inflation of this block, but I'm glad it was made. Howl of the NIght Pack and Derpywolf are much more exciting than Brindle Boar.

After playing against this card, it creates some funny scenarios. Centaurs raised by Wolves, Giants raised by Wolves. I'm still waiting for someone to enchant this guy on a God.

I love this card in limited. If you manage to trigger a nice heroic ability it just sweetens the deal.
