Woah. What a constructed snob.
Limited is fun and exists for a reason.

Great reprint! We should more often see reprints of this caliber instead of only constructed unplayable cards that only exist as limited filler (and cardbord garbage).

Perfect reprint. I doubt the card was ver this good in Lorwyn.

It was a good choice for the first spoiled card because it left everyone guessing "What the balls are we going to use this for?"

Fits the set very well

One of the first cards revealed from the set.
As has been said, it's an inspired enabler, but can also double as a mana accelerator. To be honest, when it was first revealed (inspired wasn't revealed at the time), I was already thinking that this is a legitimately decent mana acceleration. Of course it isn't as good as the specialized mana accelerators green has, but this is an artifact and can make use of your idle creatures that may have become obsoleted during the course of the game (if your opponent has bigger creatures and you won't attack with that creature anyway, might as well make him useful).

Here's a nice one for you:

{T} Springleaf Drum, then {T} an Inspired creature as part of its ability (e.g. Pain Seer). Choose {G} for Mana. Use that single {G} to cast Burst of Strength, which will untap your Inspired creature and put a +1/+1 counter on it.
