Oh my god, this could replace Dragon Appeasement in my spawn deck. Then again, maybe not. I'd rather use this with Grave Pact and Underworld Dreams. If they try and draw cards, they'll get burned.

I can see this being absolutely bonkers with Eldrazi Spawn tokens, instant speed card draw in green? Yes please! Works wonders with anything that lets you put creatures into the graveyard, such as Bloodthrone Vampire (for example)...also works wonders with creatures that are going to the graveyard anyways, such as Groundbreaker and Ball Lightning. Fills your hand if your creatures get nuked by a Wrath of God as well.

So I am going to Sack Cathodion to Alter of Dementia while Fecundity and Mortuary are in play, and put Fecundity's trigger on the stack first when Cathodion hits the graveyard. Infinite mill time.

Such a beautiful, terrifying card. Pretty much spells INSTANT WIN for any token-heavy deck. Mycoloth, Ghave, and Pentavus both have a field day with it.


ALSO, ideatog, I believe man-lands and such would trigger it, because it doesn't specifically state "creature card", so if the land was also a creature when it died, it's "last-known in play status" reads it as a creature despite what is printed, and the ability triggers.

End of your turn, I pay 1 to make a sap, then pay 1 to sac it to put a +1/+1 counter on Ghave, and draw a card.

2: Draw a card. Seems legit. Of course, the obligatory Doubling Season just makes it even more silly.

Awakening Zone Free card and 1 every turn.

My friends scoffed at me when I tossed this into my EDH deck. They weren't laughing when I was drawing several cards a turn. Granted, it can also help your opponent, if they have ways of getting rid of their own creatures, so it's somewhat of a politics card, too.

I can easily see this being good in a fungus deck alongside Psychotrope Thallid. Pay 1, draw two cards.

Ultimate counter to Wrath of God, and can hit the board as early as turn 2. Also does a fine job against doom blade, and even with chump block or sacrifice creatures.

Its on the edge of broken, definitely mythic rare power level packed into an uncommon enchantment.
