Why the Farg isn't this thing a Myr?

This card was usable in Mirrodin block with Confusion in the Ranks to hose your opponent. Its fun in a reverse control burn deck, but aside that it does fail at life. Artificial life? Failing at artifical life = double fail. 2/5

This creature is so fail I don't even know where to start. Maybe it would be playable if it was 6/6 but this just isn't. I can think of so many 4 drops that is so much better than 4/6 with negative ability. I hear a lot of people screaming donate but you know what other 4 mana card you can donate; Illusion of Grandeur and that actually kills the guy.

See, I'd think cards like this are bad, especially in limited.
But how wrong am I!
When you play this, your opponent somewhat benefits. They wouldn't want you to lose this, because then you can re-play creatures.
So what do you think they're going to do when you attack with it? Block it with something powerful? No, they're going to let it through (of block it with something else). The same goes for when they attack: They may be ess inclined to attack when you've got this out for the same reason.
It's magic politics.
