How unfortunate that the new rules for combat damage nerf this ability quite a bit when it's combined with First Strike. It's actually feasible to block Kaldra with all his equipment and kill it. You would have to give it the redundant Death Touch.

I just realized that since the "exiletouch" is a triggered ability, it won't work if the creature is in the graveyard when it resolves. Most creatures aren't going to survive getting smacked by a creature with +5/+5, so this card won't lead to many creature being exiled in combat. Still a good card, though, especially if you can Dagsson up its friends.

Kamahal, Pit Fighter, with his tap to do damage ability, would also work wonders, and this gets rid of his poor toughness rating, too.

99% of the time, deathtouch is better.
Deathtouch combos with trample and costs less to implement.

This card is nice because you have some possibilities. Any 1/1 creature you have can be a 6/6 on play. And the fact it's an equipment makes you do it over and over.
Artifacts are easy to destroy, maybe you should have Shield of Kaldra first, or other stuff that can make it harder to destroy.
For the pricey, Arcum Dagsson and Master Transmuter can help on it.
If killing creature is your objective, you can use Prodigal Sorcerer or Prodigal Pyromancer.
Well, like I said. Lots of possibilities.
