That's.... completely inconceivable! :O

but jokes aside, you're completely wrong. i don't think that protection from artifacts creatures will look so nice when you have absolutely no lands to play him with.

I've built a surprisingly successful deck using 3 Memnarch; 16 Islands, 4 Cloudpost and 4 Guilded Lotus for the mana-base. I use 8 Counterspells of 2 different sorts, and 4 Boomerang for some disruption, giving me the time to get Memnarch out. To keep myself alive from the creatures that get through, I use Spire Golems.
I used to have a couple of Skeleton Shards to bring the various dead creatures back from the graveyard, however I swapped them out after people started exiling Memnarch instead of just killing him. I replaced them and another card with a few Diplomatic Immunity, which covered all I required (make him untargettable, and not be easily removed itself!). I'm testing it tonight.

Protection from artifacts renders this guy completely null. I want to go against someone with this card with a deck full of cards like Tel-Jilad Chosen and other Tel-Jilad elves from the Mirrodin Block, as well as anything else that is pro-artifact that I'm not aware of.

XD thats basically my best deck except i have a Arcum Dagsson to get a lattice and a forge out quick in combo
