Land destruction is unfun at any time other than Mirrodin. There, I would prefer quick LD that could shut down affinity.

This is called keeping up the tempo game. 9 mana. Finisher? Nope, not yet. Tempo.
A five mana shatter is passable in "everything is a freaking artifact set" draft, though.

Lets see. I could pay 6RedRedRed and destroy an artifact and land...or I could play Worldfire and just be done with ALL the things.
