This + Boil = Plague Wind for lands... if your opponent has a mono color deck with only basic lands....

@Totema: There's a second half of this card, if you didn't bother reading it, involving colors.
@Spidey77: An interesting idea, but sadly you can't react to mana being paid and once the spell is actually cast there's no way to change what it costs.

I once done this to a friend in an EDH game. I casted Switcheroo, trading an existing Drake made by my Talrand, Sky Summoner with his Omnath, Locus of Mana. Then I Spectral Shifted it and changed each instance of "green" to "blue."
Needless to say, he got pretty angry.
