Considering your lands will be artifacts and you'll have had 6 prior turns to lay down many other artifacts, the lowest this will likely be is a 10/6. With the mana myr, you can pull this out turn 4 (although that'd be just about all you've played). Still, a turn 4 10/6 is nothing to scoff at.

Too overcosted... period. The 3/6 body is ok, with a somewhat useful ability, but really, in Mirrodin playing this card is just silly, when you can play Arcbound Ravager and kill on turn 3 or 4. I won't even get into Affinity or Skullclamp decks.

Mirrodin block is known for some broken cards, and sadly, the common cards like this tend to suffer as a result =(
