As far as the card goes, I enjoy it. Free regeneration at the cost of 1 life per turn? And instant speed attachment? Yes please. Your board threat just got more annoying.

Even if Regenerate did target the creature it was affecting, your idea would fail epically.
Why?
Because the creature becomes tapped when you Regenerate it.

This card isn't bad, though only helpful in a few situations: i.e. if my opponent is attacking with a few huge creatures, I'd rather lose 1-4 life to be able to block and still have attackers. The other player would likely just sit there instead of attacking, so you would need evasion or burn spells to finish the game at that point.

This doesn't work with Angelic Protector and Doran because the ability doesn't target; it simply says "enchanted creature."
