Fairly costed for a 5/6 that you can flash into play for like, 4 mana.

Seriously though, there are better uses for foxes like Rune-tail and co. than feeding to this silly thing, even if it is at instant speed. The Goblin and Snake versions, however...

Not the most awesome card in the history of forever, but its decent. Heck, I'd even put him in a casual deck with no foxes in it. Also, he's awesome cause he eats friggin' foxes for breakfast. 3.5/5.

This is not an easy card to use, as the tension is very bad. Do you sacrifice a fox right before their attack or afterwards? On one hand, you want to gain the life, and on the other you want to chomp one of the attackers, and you can't have it both ways unless your opponent is already desperate. Worst case, you throw it down before the attack, they kill it with a spell getting a two-for-one off of you, and now you are wide open.
All that said, it is a solid body for a good price (for white at least) that impacts the board the turn you play it. There are a lot of powerful, non-legendary angels competing for the 6 mana slot in your decks though...
The best use I can think of is to attack with your Samurai of the Pale Curtains and you sac whichever one gets munched by their big blocker. You can still get two-for-oned, but maybe you did some damage to your opponent in the meantime to make up for it. And if not then then might have held back blockers thinking t... (see all)

i personally think that this is the best out of all of the patrons, i mean, its ability is awesome. have it in a life gaining deck, and u can TOTALLY beat everyone
