I had a deck design around a soratami land fall deck... That was going to be bouncing and re playing lands a dozen times a turn... This shuts that down.

You're missing a very important detail about Tunnel Ignus, it does nothing if only a single land enters the battlefield...

Zo-Zu at least deals immediate damage for each first land played.

Now greatly outclassed by Tunnel Ignus. This guy was only good briefly as a casual anti-landfall card, but then the ignus just blows him out of the water.

He's more splashable, cheaper and not legendary so you can stack those delicious lightning bolts. You can even run him in your primeval titan/valakut deck if you're in a mirror match since he doesn't hurt you.

I'm surprised I havent seen this more in modern. It could really punish fetchland users. Although I suppose you could just run Blood Moon.
