With a Heartbeat of Spring and six basic lands in play, having this card alone could won you the game back in Ravnica - Kamigawa Standard:
Fetch 3 Drift of Phantasms + Maga, Traitor to Mortals -> transmute the phantasms for Early Harvests, ending up with 24 mana, cast Maga with X=21.
The deck saw some competitive play too.

granted it's a useful card, my limited selection of impressive green creatures makes this card hard to pull off. In my personal situation, I'm more likely to benefit my opponent than myself.
Still, very useful for people that DO have the cards for it.
